I finished the packaging for the Charms. I used Manilla folders to cut the tag and then used Tim Holtz distress and alchol ink. Then stamps with many stamps. Distressed a paper flower added the Charm and then tied with string to hold in place. These guys are heavy.
Hi everyone, this swap was fun and challenging. Here are the requirements that we had:Use a Tim Holtz Swivel Clasp for each hanging charm...it can be either size swivel clasp. *You must use a "minimum" of 10 items....beads, baubles, charms, keys, TH film strip, vintage charms or beads, shrinky dink charms, type charms, hinge clips, metal charms, metal flowers or findings, grungeboard shapes, trinket pins, the tiny bottles with the cork, facets, or tokens....just to name a few ! *Use at least 4 Tim Holtz items. *Use at least 3 items that are vintage, look vintage, or represent vintage. *Each hanging charm should be placed on a pretty tag....you must decorate the tags...no plain tags will be accepted
I have not made my presentation yet, have to figure it out. These charms are very heavy and not sure a tag will hold. Will post the presentation with charm once I have completed it. Love for you to follow and I will follow yours.
Hi everyone, here are the stick pin requirements for June. Challenges for the month of June... Use some unique bead caps....not just plain ones....there is shaped ones, long ones and so on.... Place some type of flower on aleast one pin in each set...it can be a charm, bead or whatever as long as its a flower Have a hanging charm from one of your pins.... Make a stick pin with something other than beads...."no beads"...use your imagination Make a stick pin that sparkles....
So here are my takes on it. Could be any colors
Also I made a stick pin holder, I think it turned out cute. Just used a 4" cube and covered it with fabric and flowers. I think I am going to make a new one with a shoe box, my collection is growing and I still have two months of stick pins to add when the swaps close. Hope everyone has a great day
Hope everyone is having a great Saturday. My partner Terri received her vintage box today so now I can show you the whole thing. I was trying to make the box look like an old trunk that was carried from city to city by the circus workers. So that is why I put all the tags all over.
Hi everyone The vintage box is on its way to the new owner. Hope you enjoy it Terri, Will post all the pictures once she has received, but until then only two pictures. Will have some pictures of stick pins I have been working on too soon. So please check back and see what is being made. Have a great day!
